O2O partners with private sector companies committed to training and hiring military talent and their spouses earlier in the transition process.
The Project Management Course is a Hybrid Approach online course investigates ways to blend traditional and Agile project management approaches to achieve project success. The course provides advanced strategic project management skills to develop and implement hybrid methodologies in project work and organizational management. Improve project management approaches, develop strategic integration practices, communicate effectively, mitigate risks and ensure operational readiness.
Train the Trainer School (T3S), is home to the Basic Instructor, Senior Instructor, Curriculum Developer and Formal School Management Courses. Our mission is to train and educate military and civilian personnel assigned to leadership and instructional billets in the Supporting Establishment and Operating Forces in the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of Individual and Unit Training using the Systems Approach to Training and Education. T3S trains in excess of 2,000 career-level Marines and civilians annually. Additionally, T3S supports Commanders’ efforts to enhance the efficiency of their educational and instructional programs with on-site curriculum assistance visits tailored to address unit needs.
The Curriculum Developer Course is designed to train and educate military and civilian personnel designated by NAVMC 1553.2 in formal school management, design and development of curriculum and instructional key performance areas utilizing the ADDIE process in order to provide the foundation for success as school administrators, curriculum developers and instructors assigned to Marine Corps Formal Schools.
The Formal School Instructor Course is designed to thoroughly equip instructors to prepare, rehearse, and deliver instruction that promotes transfer of learning using instructional methodologies and techniques that bolster active instruction. This course supports entry level, career progression, and values based training in Marine Corps Formal Schools and Operational Forces. Upon successful completion of this course instructors will possess the knowledge and skills required to succeed at their formal school. The objectives for this course are; the preparation and delivery of instruction, communication strategies, questioning techniques, educational strategies, employment of instructional methods, feedback and assessment, and a variety of supplemental knowledge and skills.
The Senior Instructor Course is designed to provide instructors with additional methodologies to support instruction of Value Based Leadership Training and career progression training. Upon successful completion of the course, instructors will be capable of performing coaching, guided discussion, case study, and role play to support and sustain training throughout the Marine Corps.
The Formal School Management Course is designed to provide information and training for newly assigned formal school advisors and leadership to effectively and efficiently plan, manage, coordinate, evaluate and report formal school functions. This course will cover participation in the Training & Readiness process, the development and implementation of the staff and faculty development plan, evaluation plan, academic Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), the conduct of a Course Content Review Board (CCRB), adult learning theory, and MCTIMS functionality overview.
The Systems Approach to Training Course is designed to develop performance-based, criterion-referenced instruction that permits students to effectively transfer knowledge and skills from the learning environment to the job. Instruction is effective when it teaches learning objectives based on job performance requirements and efficient when it makes the best use of resources. The MCISD/SATE process is a dynamic, flexible, total force system for developing and implementing effective and efficient education and training to meet current and projected readiness needs for all learners.
The Basic Sills Instructor Course is designed to thoroughly equip instructors to prepare, rehearse, and deliver instruction that promotes transfer of learning using instructional methodologies and techniques that bolster active instruction. This course supports entry level, career progression, and values based training in Marine Corps Formal Schools (MCFSs). Upon successful completion of this course instructors will possess the knowledge and skills required to succeed at their formal school.
